We feel it's important to keep customers informed of happenings such as service improvements as well as both planned and unplanned outages at Delavan PC.
News posts will be made as things occur.
8/1/2008 - 2:23 AM - Internet Services Outage
At approx. 1:30 AM, the main Delavan PC router experienced a hardware failure.
The outbound Network Interface Card failed. As a result, the Delavan PC Network, including all websites and e-mail service,
was unaccessible from the internet. A backup router was installed, and service
was fully restored at 2:20 AM.
5/18/2008 - 8:00 PM - Improved E-Mail Server Online
The new e-mail system (Mail Server 2) is now online. The new server includes a web-mail interface, for convenience.
Also, a more updated administration interface has been included, allowing faster creation of new
e-mail addresses and updating of settings.
5/7/2007 - New Server (Webserver 4) is now Online
Webserver 4 has been brought online today. It has significantly higher performance and reliability than Webserver 2, which it replaced.
Webserver 2 will be shut down in the next few days, after all services and websites it is responsible for have been migrated to the new server.
11/9/2006 - 7:19 PM - Main Router Maintenance
The main router has gone offline for maintenance of its cooling system. The backup router has been installed in its place without incident, and will
be online until Router 1 has finished repairs.
10/30/2006 - Webservers 1 and 3 Shut Down Permanently
Webservers 1 and 3 have been officially taken offline. Their services have been fully migrated to the new datacetner.
9/10/2006 - DNS Server at New Datacenter is Online
The DNS server at the new location is now operational. Transition of services on Webserver 1 and 3 to Webserver 2 on the new connection will begin.
9/6/2006 - Router at New Datacenter is Online
The router at our new Delavan hosting center is now online. Services will be moved to the new datacenter in the near future.
2/2/2006 - Webserver 3 is now online
Webserver 3 is now operational and online. It will be used for additional hosting applications.
9/4/2005 - Webserver 2 is now Online
Webserver 2 at the secondary datacenter has now been brought online. In the meantime, it will be used for testing new services and experamental operations.
10/2/2004 - Webserver 1 is now Online
The webserver is now operational and online.
